Covenants & Design Guidelines
Like many communities, The Thoms Estate makes use of covenants and architectural guidelines for the benefit of all owners and their neighbors. Neighborhoods with properly drafted and enforced covenants and architectural standards have been shown to retain property value better than those with poorly enforced covenants or no standards at all. Neighborhoods that follow their covenants and standards tend to be safer, look better, maintain better relationships with local governments, and better retain or increase the investments that homeowners have made in their properties.
The Village at the Thoms Estate, also known as Phase 2 and home of our Chateaux, has additional neighborhood covenants. This part of the community offers worry-free living, and the neighborhood association is in charge of all lawn maintenance and certain other exterior maintenance. Be sure to speak to our sales staff about how we can make your home ownership worry-free, allowing you to relax, travel and work in peace.

Architectural Review Committee Process
Please speak to our sales team regarding current Approved Builders, or if you are interested in becoming an Approved Builder. Developer is building their own product on remaining inventory.
Alex Brittian is in Chairman of our Architectural Review Committee (ARC) and your point of contact as you prepare to build in The Thoms Estate. Use the forms below to submit your preliminary and final plans to the ARC for approval, along with the required fees.
